We are sharks!

Today I went to the cinema with a friend to see "Up in the air". Out of all the trailers we watched, this one was the most promising one. So without any expectations we met, got our tickets and prepared for the flight (höhö). Well, I have to say, that I really liked that movie. It's not your typical love story as it doesen't end like you expect it to. Plus, besides that romantic level, it also works 2 other levels: On the one hand it's dealing with the fact that a lot of people lost their jobs during the financial crisis, on the other hand it also deales with the question how new technologies affect interpersonal relationships. Both topics give the movie an interesting twist. And it's pretty funny too...

Even if it wasn't the message of the movie, I really like that one speech that Clooney makes during the film. Right now it makes total sense to me...well, not sense, I just wish I could think like that, cause then a lot would be waaaaay easier for me. I couldn't find the movie scene on youtube, but some folks were kind enough to upload their version...



I wish I could be a shark...but I guess I'll stay a fucking swan. But on the other hand: swans seem to be way happier than sharks...

I have to admitt, I also like the movie because of it's real message: "If you think about it, your favourite memories, the most important moments in your life: Were you alone? Life's better with company! Everyone needs a copilot..." <3
